The JUMBO ALU/COMPOSITE TIRE is constructed with heavy-duty aluminum end caps and sidewalls, coated with a composite plate, which is further reinforced and supported by as many as 4 aluminum crossbars (on 305cm tire). This makes the tire lightweight, strong and tough.
The aluminum/composite tire is resistant to wind and weather. The tire has no organic components – it does not absorb water, is UV-resistant and dimensionally stable. The composite decking can also withstand contact with alkaline products such as wet mortar and concrete.
Alu/composite decking is ideal for use on construction sites in the climate and with proper use and storage, the properties of the composite decking will not significantly deteriorate for at least 10 years! The aging properties of the composite decking have been tested and verified according to recognized ISO standards and test methods in the field.
As an extra guarantee of your safety, the composite decking is provided with a non-slip wear layer. This minimizes the risk of slipping and falling accidents on the scaffolding. The strength of the wear layer has been tested according to EN13892-5 – where it is noted that not only does the surface pass the wear test, but there are no visible effects on the integrity and slip resistance of the surface.
The resistance, slip resistance, properties and strength of the composite plate have been tested and verified by RISE (Research Institute of Sweden)
